New Music Friday

I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving yesterday. It was great to see my family and great to see the stuffing that I was ready to devour haha. My grandma added a new dish this year. It was mashed butternut squash and it was amazing! Ahh I kind of want to make it myself haha.

At Thanksgiving, I usually see my family once a year and when I see them, they expose me to so much more new music and I thought I would share who they have been listening to.

1. Xavier Omar

The song that my cousins showed me was his song "Afraid" and coincidentally enough, it was featured in Bella Hadid's instagram story. The production of the song goes perfectly with his voice. I listened to some more of his discography and another song that stood out to me was "Runnin' Round" from his EP Pink Lightning. If you are into artists like Majid Jordan, he is definitely worth the listen. He is currently on tour so check him out before he blows up.

2. Sinead Harnett

The first song I was introduced to of hers was "If You Let Me" featuring Grades and I was immediately hooked. Her voice is so beautiful and she reminds me of another newcomer Sabrina Claudio but Harnett has her distinct sound as well as Claudio. I got a chance to listen to her "Live from Jazz Cafe London" and man her voice is something else. She is another artist to watch and if you are into Sabrina Claudio or Jessie J, you need to give her a listen.

3. Che Ecru

If you are into artists like Bryson Tiller, you should definitely check out Che Ecru. While the fan favorite is "2AM," I personally like the his song "Declined." Great artist and I love the chill-trap production that he has.
