New Music Friday

Damn I can't believe it is ALREADY DECEMBER!!! This year flew by way too fast, BUT MORE NEW MUSIC IS STILL BEING RELEASED in the last few weeks we have left of 2017!! :D

Alright so,

1. Miguel - War & Leisure

Miguel has released his highly anticipated album "War & Leisure" and it is actually pretty good. Compared to his last effort "Wildheart," this one is wayy better. I already loved "Pineapple Skies," "Sky Walker (feat. Travi$ Scott)" and "Come Through and Chill (feat. J.Cole and Salaam Remi)" so I was already looking forward to it. What I like about Miguel is that with his albums, he keeps to his style but at the same time evolves as an artist. I respect that. "War & Leisure" is a different but a good R&B album that ends 2017 with a bang. There is a rumor going around that he will be playing Coachella next year. I will defintiely catch his set if he is.

2. U2 - Songs of Experience

I don't really know U2's catalog other than Joshua Tree and Songs of Innocence but I will say that this new album is much better than the last one. The standout track for me is "America Soul" with Kendrick Lamar. The song with Kygo is good as well but I just think are too classic of a band to do that. I can see Coldplay, but not U2. Songs of Experience is still a solid album overall.
