Albums to look forward to in 2018

Happy New Year!! 2018 is looking bright and I am excited to see what new music will be in store for all of us from both veterans and up and comers. So, here are some albums that I am personally looking forward to this year.

1. Beyonce - B7

As a proud member of the beyhive, I CANNOT wait to see what Queen Bey has in store for us this year. I have a feeling her new untitled album will be rap influenced. I personally think she has been dropping hints through her instagram and website but no one seems to follow me on that. Her dressing up as Lil Kim I believe is a hint to a rap influenced album as well as the way she has been dressing lately. So much swag and a little tomboyish. I also think she will drop something before Coachella and will debut it along with another tour. Will it be another solo tour or a joint tour with Hov? Only time will tell. With her last album, she made a visual that aired on the silver screen, will she take it a step further and debut it on the big screen? Maybe a teaser before Black Panther? (I literally just made that up) That would be epic on all levels. We will see as we get later into 2018.

2. Justin Timberlake - Man of the Woods?

Question mark at the end because I don't know if the title is in regards to a single or an album. He recently trademarked "Man of the Woods" soooo.. all I know is I am ready for some more JT. I loved the 20/20 experience and I know that this new album will be loaded with more hits. With his SuperBowl performance coming up, it makes sense to release something before. There are also rumors that he is plotting a HUGE arena tour and tickets will reportedly go on sale THIS MONTH! If you have not seen him live, he puts on an incredible show.

3. Rihanna - R9

I was not too sure about this one. I have read some articles with producers hinting at a possible album from Rih but don't know. There is a rumor going around that she will be featured on Beyonce's album, which would be the collaboration of 2018 for me. ANTI was a masterpiece and my favorite album of hers and I hope it will be under the same realm.

4. Troye Sivan

His last record was so good and I am curious to see what kind of direction he will be taking this time. He recently updated his picture on twitter and it looks promising.

5. Ariana Grande - AG4

Dangerous Woman was also a classic pop album and knowing that she is working with Pharrell on the record gets me pumped for her new album. Pharrell always makes some bangers haha.

6. Lady Gaga - LG6

I am also curious to see what direction Gaga will go this time. Will it be a continuation of Artpop or Born This Way? I have read that she will be returning to pop music and has been working with DJ White Shadow, who has made hits from Artpop and Born This Way. There are rumors that she will be collaborating with Beyonce to continue the Telephone saga, which has been a long time coming haha
