Governor's Ball and Boston Calling Announce Lineups

Shortly after Coachella announce their lineup, Governors Ball (also ran by the same people who put on Coachella, released their lineup as well as Boston Calling. Governor's Ball will take place on Randalls Island in NYC with Eminem, Jack White, Travis Scott and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs set to headline. Other noticeable names include Khalid, Halsey N*E*R*D and 2 Chainz (who is surprisingly low on the poster) I am also ehh about this lineup. While it does include some crossover from Coachella, it is a decent lineup overall. The only 2 names that I am surprised that did not crossover to Coachella are N*E*R*D and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, other than that, I think Coachella has a more well rounded lineup overall. Although, I am interested about the Silk City Diplo and Mark Ronson collaboration. Tickets are already on sale and 3 day passes are $305 plus fees. I believe they also do single day passes but that won't be announced until later.

Boston Calling on the other hand, will be taking place a the Harvard Athletic Complex with Eminem, The Killers and Jack White headlining. Other notable acts include Paramore, Bryson Tiller, Taylor Bennett and Maggie Rogers. Personally, I think this lineup is FANTASTIC! It does not have as much as Coachella but the artist choices are well done. Paramore's latest album was amazing, tormzy is always a good time and NATALIE PORTMAN! That is crazy in itself. I'm sure she won't be singing but she will curate something for the festival which is awesome. I appreciate how this festival delivers a quality lineup every year. And, I guess we will be seeing Eminem at every festival this year haha. Ticket are on sale now and 3 day passes are $279 with a $20 fee ($300 total or $299 to be exact)
