New Music Sunday: Coachella Lineup

This go-around I wanna switch things up. I have been looking into all of the artists on the Coachella lineup hardcore (catch me there "Weeknd" 2) and wanted to share with you all what I have found that I am excited to see on the polo fields and that is new music to me. Haha.

1. Soulwax

These guys are AMAZING! I was never really into this genre of music but I am all for it. My favorite song of theirs right now is "Is It Always Binary" Check out the incredible music video below.

2. Jamiroquai

I HAD NO IDEA THAT THIS GUY SANG THE NAPOLEON DYNAMITE DANCE SONG! I am too stoked to witness this live. His whole entire discography is awesome and it is one set that I am looking forward to seeing.

3. Russ

His music is very similar to other artists that I have been posting in the past New Music Sundays. I enjoy the trap rap/r&b genre and this is exactly it haha. I hope he does not conflict with anyone else!

4. Black Coffee

I first heard of him when he was featured on Drake's song "Get It Together" from More Life and his solo stuff is very much like that song. Dancehall/ reggae vibes. When discovering these artists, I love watching their love videos as opposed to music videos. It gives me a better picture of how they perform before actually going to see them. Watch his Boiler Room DJ set below. It definitely is a head bopper.

5. Motor City Drum Ensemble

Sorry for all of the house/techno music, I am just really into it right now haha. He is very groovy and I cannot wait to boogie down to this in whatever tent he will be in come April. I also realized he performed on the only day I went to FYF Fest last year (Saturday) If I knew then what I know now.......dammit

6. Chris Liebing

This guy is too smooth. All of this groovy music is getting me PUMPED!! Ahh!! His set at Tomorrowland last year was so good. Watch at least the first 10 minutes!
