Fresh Music Friday

I thought I would start this new thing called Fresh Music Friday. What is different about Fresh Music Friday compared to New Music Sunday is that fresh music will be about newly released albums from new and old artists. New Music Sunday will be about the underdogs, the underrated artists that do not have a big following. Make sense? Alright so lets get started on the first Fresh Music Friday.

Justine Skye - Ultraviolet

To be honest, I have heard of her name but haven't listened to any of her stuff until now. "Goodlove" and "Heaven" were the first two songs I heard and "Heaven" is my personal favorite so far. Ultraviolet also includes collabs with Wizkid and Jeremih. Other standout tracks from the album "You Got Me" and "Best for Last." Listen to my personal favorite "Heaven" below:

SiR - November

His album was one of my most anticipated albums this year and it is FINALLY HERE! Every single track is amazing. I can listen to it without skipping a track. Schoolboy Q and Anita Bond are also featured on the album and both tracks are awesome.This is only his DEBUT ALBUM and it gives me a Miguel vibe If I HAD to choose a favorite, it would be "D'Evils" Take a listen below:

tUnE-YaRdS - I can feel you creep into my private life

Again heard the name but none of their music. I decided to give it a shot and it is actually pretty solid. Definitely indie-retro pop vibes. It is an album that you can slow groove to. Standout tracks for me are "Heart Attack" and "Love On Your Hands" Listen to "Heart Attack" below:
